So far Romania has already been a wonderful (and trying) experience. We started "studying" a little in Bucharest by visiting some places for our classes. The Patriach and the Peoples Palace being some of them!
--This is a picture of us on a bridge in a park in Bucharest--
This is a path we took on the way to a musuem we visitied - it was a lot of fun.
The people in these pictures who do not look american are our Romanian tour guides - they were all youth involved with IMPACT - a group we will be working with for our experiential education class.
This was on the way from Bucharest to Lupeni (7 hours) - Lindsay and Brianne are showing off the finetti (a lot like nutella) its basically a soft chocolate spread....great substitute for peanut butter.
The first night we arrived in Bucharest we ate pizza at a really cute outdoor resturant.
I realize these are very random pictures and possibly not of great significance but, there you go!
